Glencadia Dog Camp Reviews

Our boy Hank loves going to camp. We can’t offer him the room to run and play that he deserves, so we send him to camp every chance we get to get his exercise in. He even goes swimming in the pond, which he absolutely loves! He is always so happy to head to camp, and he comes home happy, healthy, and tired 🙂 The staff is amazing and very responsive to my requests and concerns. They upload pictures all the time, so we can keep tabs on our Hankie Poo! I can’t say enough good things about this place, one staff member told me that the place was designed for dogs to be dogs, and I couldn’t agree more! So happy we found Glencadia!

I feel very comfortable and relieved knowing that my dog Amara is at Glencadia. We get regular pictures and videos of the dogs running around and enjoying themselves, live videos, and even email updates. Amara always seems happy, her tail wagging up high, rolling, running, sniffing or just enjoying the sun, the mud and even the ponds! The van pick up and drop off is great and was always timely and communication is very good. Amara has been up there for short and longer term stays and will be going again end of June. It’s really a peace of mind for me to have find Glencadia as I travel a lot and know she is in excellent hands.

My dog Elvis is always so excited to see the Glencadia van pull up. He’s visited for several weekend and week-long stays, always returning happy but exhausted. I love being able to sift through all the pictures on the blog — Elvis is basically part fish and seems to really enjoy all the swimming opportunities available to him at camp (especially in any mud pit he can sniff out)!

This is the best thing I’ve ever done for my dog. She loves Glencadia because she roams free and plays in mud all day with lots of other dogs. I love Glencadia because they pick her up in front of my house and drop her off again when vacation is over. They provide exceptional care for their dogs and send frequent updates so you can track your dogs adventures.
Glencadia is the best service a dog owner can get for their pet.

We sent our 1.5 year old GSD to Glencadia for 3 weeks. We think she loved it- because in every photo and video they shared she was running with a giant stick in her mouth or chasing down tennis balls. We were choosing between a sitter on Rover and the Dog Camp and we chose right.

The fact that free pick-up in NYC is included (and super smooth) is a great plus too!

Favorite boarding service I’ve ever used!

Glencadia is great. All else aside, their prices put them in a tier of their own, extremely reasonable. In NYC there are endless absurd “luxury” dog boarding places that cost hundreds per night, and for what? Glencadia let’s the dogs be dogs for a fraction of the price.

The free pickup twice a week is also hugely convenient when planning a trip. Great piece of mind knowing that it’s available, and much easier than needing to take the dog somewhere. They come right to your door!

The blog, email updates, and Instagram photos are also fantastic. If you’re missing your pooch on vacation all you have to do is look at the pictures and you know they’re well, and probably having more fun than you are!

Last, the people are always thoughtful, compassionate, and kind. When my dog Maggie gets picked up, she immediately recognizes the drivers and gets excited. I have never had a problem in any communication with anyone at the camp, and they have earned my trust over years of taking care of my sweet girl when I have to be away. I am so glad that Glencadia is available, and I plan on using them whenever I need to board!
